The New ADV Part 2A and 2B are a complete departure from the old ADV Part II and Schedule F that have been used for years. Almost every RIA in America, state or SEC registered, must start using this new format at some point in 2011. Form ADV Part 2A is for the RIA firm and sole proprietor RIAs. Form ADV Part 2B is for each person that generates investment advice for clients, meets with clients as an advisor, or that has discretionary trading authority over clients accounts. RIA IN A BOX offers two solutions for this new form.
For those that want to hire an expert to tailor their entire Form ADV Part 2 to their specific business practices and governing jurisdiction, we offer a customized ADV 2A for $1,375 and customized ADV Part 2Bs for $175 each.
For those that just want a template (with instructions) to create their own ADV 2A and 2B, we now offer a Microsoft Word template for only $99. If you purchase the template and choose to upgrade later to the customized ADV 2A and 2B, you will receive a credit of $99 toward that upgrade.
How long can I expect to spend on either solution?
The questionnaires for the customized ADV Part 2 should take no more than 40 minutes to complete. We’ll do the rest. The template ADV 2 should take you three to fifteen hours, depending on the complexity of your firm and number of reps.
How will my ADV 2A/2B be delivered?
