Associate Product Manager

With a focus on helping independent advisors streamline and grow their business, RIA in a Box has created a new group to build solutions and services that help our clients with their broader technology and operational needs. Team members will have the unique opportunity to be at the ground level in an exciting new venture within an existing high-growth, profitable company. This is an execution-focused position with the potential for added responsibility. This individual will be the initial product hire and focused on market/customer activities like feature research, testing, user experience design, business analysis, product demos, and product support troubleshooting.  We require a motivated self-starter who can work with limited direct supervision, has an entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership skills. This role will require someone to align with company objectives and be a driving force behind reaching product goals.

This position will report to the General Manager. While we are currently working remote as a company, this role is based in our NYC office.

 
What you'll do:
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in our solutions
  • Maintain and enhance the product based on client feedback
  • Manage the development, test, and implementation of product enhancements
  • Serve as the product expert in addressing both internal and external issues and questions
  • Provide superior quality assurance through the testing and maintenance of the product
  • Other product development team responsibilities, as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Prior experience at a technology company a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams; must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Track record of results-oriented achievements and successful strategy execution
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
  • A proven leader and self-starter
  • Bachelor's degree
