Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Manager to handle all bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and to assist with audit and tax reporting. The Finance Manager will also assist with accounting process improvements to help better automate and streamline financial reporting and will support the Chief Financial Officer on business analytics and FP&A. This new role is based in either our suburban Cleveland or NYC office and you will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

What you'll do:

Perform all accounting operations including all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, and payroll
Manage payroll, tax reporting, sales tax, and audit preparation
Produce accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements and key performance indicator reports,
including budget-to-actuals-to-forecast for income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet
Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assist with cash management
Maintain depreciation, amortization, and ASC 606 revenue recognition schedules
Manage company corporate card expense transactions and reporting
Work with the CFO to conduct financial analysis and set operating budgets across the company and ensure management against those budgets

What we're looking for:

5+ years of general accounting experience
Proficient with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Excel, and other relevant applications
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and best practices
Immaculate attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
CPA is not a requirement, but a plus
Previous experience working in a high-growth technology company is not a requirement, but a plus
